How to unlock iphone for free

First of all you have to download unlock/jail break tool. Download one of the most popular free jail breaking
software redsn0w from below
step 1:   Download the latest version of RedSn0w from below or click here

• Download redsn0w 0.9.11b4 for windows
• Download redsn0w 0.9.11b4 for OS X

After downloading redsn0w Extract the zip file………
don’t have extractor click here
step 2:   You can skip this step if iOS 5.1.1 is already installed on your device.Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes. Select your iPhone from the list of devices on the left. Now hold down Shift and click the Restore button.
Restore is preferred as it won't create any wasted space on your iPhone.iTunes will now update your iPhone to the new firmware.
step 3:   And run *******************redsn0w.exe**********************
Launch the redsn0w application from the redsn0w folder where you extracted earlier.




step 4:   ***************Click on jailbreak***********************
        Once RedSn0w opens click the Jailbreak button.
       Plug your iPhone into the computer and make sure its OFF then click the Next button.


step 5:  Start your iphone in DFU mode. RedSn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode.

if your iPhone is in DFU mode then

After rebooooooot…….


RedSn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data.
step 6:   Select Cydia from the list of options and click Next.

Your iPhone will now be rebooted again and RedSn0w will begin uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel.
Once this is complete you will be notified that RedSn0w is done. When your iPhone finishes rebooting (5 minutes or so) it will be jailbroken with Cydia on the SpringBoard.
Once you have jailbroken you will need to rerun redsn0w to boot tethered.


For this run redsn0w.exe and click on extras button. Select Just boot from the Extras menu to just boot tethered as below:

From the main RedSn0w menu click the Extras button.

Step Two
Select Just boot from the Extras menu to just boot tethered.

Install Ultrasn0w from cydia then you can unlock  iphone carrier for free .


Now you can use your iphone in any country with any carrier….
and you can also use any software outside the apple app store( Like Cydia)…………..

How to start iPhone in DFU mode

• Connect the iPhone to your computer and launch iTunes
• Turn the iPhone off (hold down the power button at the top of the iPhone)
• Hold down the sleep/power button and home button together for exactly 10 seconds, then release the power button
• Continue to hold down the Home button until a message appears in iTunes telling you an iPhone in recover mode has been detected


• When you are in DFU mode your iPhone screen will be completely black

Even though the screen is black, that doesn’t mean the device can’t be interfaced with either iTunes or a custom firmware client (for jailbreaking, etc).
Remember that if you see the restore logo, iTunes logo, or any message on the iPhone screen, you are not in DFU mode but standard Recovery Mode. Again, DFU mode is signified by having a completely black screen on the device. If anything else is the case, repeat the steps above until you enter into DFU mode successfully.
